Yoga Level 1 & Level 2
Tiaki Yoga teaches a synthesis of traditional yoga firmly rooted within the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali mixed with strengthening body work based on the science of exercise physiology. Â Our focus is on correct anatomical alignment and we teach modifications for asanas including progressions and regressions for all age groups and abilities in a class (including rehabilitation). Tiaki Yoga courses include details on how to creatively develop and sequence asanas as well as ways to encourage the mind/body connection in your classes.
Open to student teachers of all levels and backgrounds our yoga courses incorporate an in-depth study of:
Anatomy and Physiology
Yoga Sutras and Yoga Philosophy
Asanas
Relaxation Techniques
Effective Teaching and Communication Skills
200 (Level 1 or Level 2 individually) and 500 hour (Levels 1 and 2 combined) Tiaki Yoga Teacher Training Certification is available.
